This release candidate of the Navigateworx Device Management Platform incorporates critical bug fixes, usability improvements, and performance optimizations based on extensive testing and user feedback from previous beta versions. It is intended for final validation by partners and early adopters ahead of the upcoming stable release. While most components are now production-ready, minor adjustments may still be made before general availability.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where timezone selection in Company or Company Profile settings did not take effect during data display or scheduling.

Resolved incorrect permission enforcement for Device Admin and Device Operator roles, ensuring proper access control to device management functions.

Corrected Uplink interface statistics on the Monitoring Dashboard to include data from online devices.

Addressed a bug causing the “Created By” field to appear empty in Task details.

Optimizations

Removed login events from Operation Logs to reduce noise and improve log relevance for administrative auditing.

Added a secure “View Current Admin Password” option on the Device Details page.

Improved clarity and accuracy of operation records in the Online Configuration Editor, including more descriptive action labels and explicit success/failure indicators.

Enhanced Remote Access performance for users in APAC and EMEA regions through optimized routing and edge caching.

Known Issues

NR600-P5G devices: Dual Wi-Fi status information (e.g., 2.4GHz/5GHz band details) is not yet displayed in the device status panel. Support will be added in a future release.

BETA Release Notes

This BETA release introduces the early-stage features of the Navigateworx Device Management Platform. The purpose of this version is to allow users to preview functions, evaluate workflows, and provide feedback before the official launch. Some features may be adjusted or enhanced in the upcoming stable releases.

New Features

1. Device Registration & Activation

• Support for adding devices to inventory and automatic activation when first connected.

• Basic device information display, including model, serial number, and connection status.

2. Device Group Management

• Two-level organizational structure: root organization + device groups.

• Ability to assign Device Admins and Device Operators to specific groups.

• Each device belongs to one device group at a time.

3. License Management

• One-to-one device-to-license binding model.

• License activation upon first binding.

• 30-day minimum binding period and unbinding rules enforced.

4. Remote Access

• Secure remote access to device web UI via the cloud.

• Optional remote access to LAN endpoints behind the device.

5. Monitoring Dashboard

• Real-time device status monitoring (online/offline).

• Daily summaries of new device activations and active devices.

• Basic alert statistics and device online history.

6. Batch Operations

• Batch firmware upgrade, configuration import, and remote reboot.

• Support for scheduled tasks and execution logs.
